About La Puma Farms
La Puma Farms is a private three acre Regenerative, Certified Organic urban working Santa Barbara farm. We're six minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, a mile from the Pacific: the listed address is incorrect.
We offer private Guided Tours for groups of six or more, and private Event Space, FarmStays and PhotoShoots, all by appointment only. Visitors often re-discover their senses, experience moments of spiritual and mental peace, and feel the healing power of nature here.
We've been called “A Shangri-La" for food, after the mystical valley of longevity. Our goals are education, beauty and produce of unsurpassed quality. The farm is exceptionally biodiverse: we keep bees, collect honey, grow rare yuzu lemons, make our own olive oil.

I absolutely loved the farm and the tour. John La Puma makes the experience amazing with his extensive knowledge of honestly everything. I had so many questions about fruits, medicines, and so much more which were all answered. If you get the opportunity to go definitely get some honey and check out the bees that made it. It’s the best honey on this earth I’m convinced. Also when the persimmons are in season it’s like Willy Wonkas chocolate factory where you can grab one of a branch and bite into a delectable experience of flavor. Can’t wait to go back when they are in season. Thank you La Puma farms!!!

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a perfect Santa Barbara day! I joined friends for a tour while visiting SB and learned so much in this hands-on tour from Dr. La Puma. I had very little knowledge of regenerative farming prior to this and have walked away inspired to learn more and to eat more conscientiously. Thank you for a lovely day!

Love Dr. LaPuma's place. It's a full working farm on the residential hills Santa Barbara: Dr. LaPuma is a firm belliever in the importance of vegetable nutrition as a determiner of health. His urban farm grows a large variety of veggies and fruit and he works with other physicians calling for diets more full of healthy fruits and vegetables. He wants to be part of that movement.

La Puma Farm is a beautiful farm using regenerative practices to build healthy soil and produce wholesome food. The diversity of the plants is impressive and matches the owner's culinary passion. John La Puma has been a chef and physician for many years promoting taste and health. He understands the connections between food, health, agriculture and the environment.
